FELLOWSHIP INTERN will significantly contribute to a full range of team activities, including program development, impact evaluation, executive volunteer engagement, strategic communications and campaign development, that help expand the exponential impact and reach of City Scholars® Fellowship.
Introduced in 2007 as an innovative, tuition-free, non-profit leadership institute, City Scholars® Fellowship partners with executive volunteers to train and support leaders of education non-profits that together help over 125,000 low-income youth each year throughout the Greater Los Angeles region stay in school, out of trouble and on track to a brighter future.
FELLOWSHIP INTERN must:
FELLOWSHIP INTERN works on average 12 - 16 hours/week either Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. Our office is closed on Fridays. Given that all Fellowship events are held on Wednesdays, our FELLOWSHIP INTERN must be available to work at least until 3:30 pm on Wednesdays.
Internship start and end dates are flexible with commitments averaging 3 - 4 months. Internships may be renewed based upon exceptional performance and program need.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Temporary, part-time, hourly
COMPENSATION: $15 - $17/hour; average 12 - 16 hours/week (Monday - Thursday). Parking/public transportation allowance up to $5/day.
