The Department of Psychology is looking for two (2) full-time Research Assistants (RAs) for an effectiveness trial of cognitive-behavioral therapy for youth depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress and behavioral parent training for conduct problems in youth. Reporting to a professor of clinical psychology, responsibilities may include: subject recruitment, survey administration to participating youth and families, data entry, literature searches, formatting manuscripts/grants, coding for meta-analyses, volunteer oversight, and other supporting research activities. Applicants must be willing to commit to the position for one year.
Basic QualificationsOne year of research or clinical experience is required in an area related to child and adolescent psychology.
Additional QualificationsA BA/BS in psychology or a related field, strong academic qualifications, previous psychological research experience, experience working with children and adolescents, an interest in applying for a graduate degree in psychology are highly preferred. SAT scores may be requested. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently are required.
