Full Time | Pittsburgh | Paid | Entry-Level/Temp This position involves clinical research in women’s neurology, focusing on neurological diseases such as epilepsy, headache, multiple sclerosis, and peripheral neuropathies as they relate to pregnancy. The applicant will participate in all steps of clinical research studies, primarily 1) institutional review board application, amendments, and monitoring, 2) patient consent and recruitment, 3) data collection, monitoring, and entry, and 4) manuscript preparation for publication. Duties will be performed under the instruction of the director of women’s neurology, but work will largely be performed independently in both the neurology and obstetrics departments.
Prior experience in dealing with IRB applications, patient consent and recruitment, and data management is recommended but not necessary.
