There’s been a lot of talk about President Obama and Kanye West in recent months. With Obama wrapping up his final term and Kanye considering a run for POTUS in 2020, and possibly Speaker of the House. These two have accumulated undeniable success throughout their respective careers and lives. What can we learn from these power duo? Answer: A lot! But here are four of them.
1. Give Less F***’s!
We live in a time of hypersensitivity. Meaning, there are many people who care too much about the opinions of others with regards to ourselves. It’s good to receive constructive criticisms however, it becomes dangerous when we take every criticism to heart. It’s easy to become too conscious of what others told instead of us being us and that is what makes us unique. Check out these vids of the Pres and Yeezy giving less f***’s.

2. Just Do It!
Though this has been overstated by Nike and numerous other inspirational people this statement holds so much truth. There is no beginning to greatness without action. With no action there is no progress. To even go deeper there is a lack of faith in what you might believe. Have faith in yourself and just do it. That’s why I’m writing about President Obama and Kanye, otherwise I would probably write about someone else who just followed what they believe.
3. Be Creative
Obviously Kanye West is a creative genius, but President Obama has his ways in expressing his creativity too! Matter of fact, Obama wanted to be a writer before considering government. Then again he was able to do both because, well, he’s Barack. He also considered being an architect. Embracing your creatively will allow you to build something new that no one has yet to bring to reality.
4. Make Mistakes
At the end of the day both Kanye and Barack are just human. They are no different from us. Just as we make mistakes so have they. Their success is proof that it is important to embrace mistakes and take life a little less seriously.
